Updated: 3 Jun 2020

Moonah Arts Centre is currently closed to the public. We plan to re-open with a new exhibition in August 2020.

Moonah Arts Centre (MAC) is currently closed to the public in response to the threat of COVID-19.

Parts of our program have moved online during our closure. Visit glenorchyarts.com.au to discover online workshops, exhibitions, recorded music performances, an archive of past community projects and more.

There is still much to prepare before we can re-open our doors. Restrictions have meant big changes to the program of events and activities that were scheduled for 2020. Interstate and international artists have been unable to travel. Some local artists have been unable to access their studios preventing them from making work. Music concerts and live performances with audiences cannot resume in the intimate setting of MAC’s performance/screen studio until we are sure that it can be done safely and affordably.

Until we can welcome you back into the Centre, MAC will continue to produce online arts and cultural content.

There will be limited capacity for groups to work with us in hiring MAC’s spaces before we re-open to the public. Please fill in a booking enquiry to find out more about hiring a space.

Due to the changing nature of this situation, please check this page for updated advice.
