About MAC

Moonah Arts Centre (MAC) has undergone an exciting new re‐development to become a major resource for arts and cultural development within the City of Glenorchy. Owned and operated by Glenorchy City Council, MAC aims to enrich the local community by providing accessible and affordable arts and cultural experiences. The new, contemporary, state of the art facility promises to surprise and delight people of all ages.

‘Whether you’re mad about art, or know little about it, MAC provides the perfect place to meet, connect and engage in art at all levels.’

A recent ‘once in a lifetime’ investment has seen MAC move into a brand new, purpose built space on Albert Road. Here, MAC will continue to provide accessible, affordable arts and cultural experiences to the local community for decades to come.
