MAC has a range of purpose built creative spaces, designed for different arts and cultural activity. While our focus is on supporting arts and cultural activity we do make some of our spaces available for non arts activity under certain conditions.
Due to the high demand on the spaces at the MAC, arts activity or events which are publicly promoted and accessible, (i.e. ticketed or free events and workshops) will have priority.
To ensure that spaces at the MAC do not become locked up by private activity or club bookings, the MAC can only accept private bookings 12 weeks in advance. As such the MAC cannot accept regular weekly or monthly bookings beyond 12 weeks for private or non public events and activities ( i.e. meetings of clubs and societies).
Please see our pricing schedule and usage policy on this page for more information.
Please see our Pricing Schedule and Usage Policy before making your space inquiry. Please note the online form on this page is for inquiries ONLY and does NOT constitute a confirmed booking.
We will be back in touch about availability for your proposed dates shortly and also seek further information from you to assist in pricing your proposed use of our space (s).
MAC’s exhibitions are programmed 12 months in advance. Every year in July and August, we open applications for exhibitions proposed for the following year. The Albert Hallway space is an exception, accepting expressions of interest year round. Please contact our Visual Arts Program Officer to find out more about exhibiting at MAC.
