Vinay Desai is one of the very few Santoor players around the world who carries the music of the Santoor Maestro Pandit Shivkumar Sharma. Jay is the foremost Tabla player in Australia learning under the legend Pandit Yogesh Samshi. Both of them have toured extensively around the world playing for some of the most prestigious Indian organizations. Vinay is known for his superlative melodic improvisations and sharp sense of rhythm. With Jay, they have an astonishing ability to embrace, dive into and reinterpret traditional music.
