Working It Out provides support and advocacy services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ+) Tasmanians and education and training programmes to schools, workplaces, government and non-government organisations.

LGBTQIA+ Youth Empowerment Workshops
Join trans, non-binary performance artist HK Vermeulen for a series of workshops for LGBTQIA+ youth aged 14-18. Workshops focus on themes of finding your voice, empowering yourself and others and connecting to Queer community. These monthly workshops will see participants discussing issues that are important to them, learning makeup and performance techniques and movement. There will also be craft activities and space for discussions on Queerness, identity and the challenges faced by LGTBQIA+ youth.
All workshops take place at Moonah Arts Centre, 5pm-6.30pm, apart from the workshop December 12, which go till 7.30pm to accommodate an end of year celebration.
