Calling all performers! The MACabaret 2021 Expression of Interest process is now open. Shows will be at MAC on Saturday 30 October. We welcome artists, characters, comedians, dancers, circus performers, puppeteers, poets and cabaret/burlesque acts to apply via the link below before AUGUST 30.
Considering Halloween is the following day, we thought we would vamp up this year’s theme!
There are two available time slots to apply for, you can apply for either or both:
First time slot: 5 – 6pm on Saturday 30 October.
Theme: The Hairy Scary Family Show (all ages).
Second time slot: 7 – 9pm Saturday 30 October.
Theme: Vamp de Vaudeville (MA+).
Both shows have a variety show format, with a range of acts scheduled in each. This format will help us to determine where to schedule your act and what special requirements are needed. Please give as much detail as possible regarding your act, including ideal performance length, any audience alerts (including age limitations) and if you are willing to perform at both shows.
