In a damaged world, four characters search for the light. Angry, funny, defiant, kind and cruel, Crave is a deeply personal meditation on the meaning of love.
Pulsing with loss and longing, its resonance will be doubly powerful as we begin to reconnect our lives after the loneliness and seclusion inflicted by a global pandemic.
Written by one of the most influential playwrights of the 20th century, this production is co-directed by Ellen Roe and Andy Aisbett.
Cast: Noah Casey, Gabi Vavoulas, Emma Skalicky, Rosie Cann
Tickets $30 / $25 concession
Audience Alerts: Sarah Kane’s CRAVE, like all the playwright’s works, scans like a bumper list of trigger warnings: rape, mental breakdown, anorexia, religion and suicide. Kane’s works are considered brutal, bruising yet incredibly fragile and touching, and accelerated the rise of ‘In-Yer-Face’ theatre in the nineties and early 2000’s. We recommend viewers of this work to be over the age of 16.
