Presented in Partnership with Moonah Arts Centre

Join UK-based trade artist and feral economist Kate Rich for the pilot run of the Feral MBA, a radically re-imagined training course in business for artists (and others), taking place in venues around Hobart, Feb 1 – March 1.

Sat & Sun Feb 1-2 (11-5PM), Moonah Arts Centre will host the opening weekend of the Feral MBA curriculum. The focus of this 5-week business boot camp is not on ‘making it’ in an extractive economy whose core assumptions of competition, productivity and endless growth are unarguably bankrupt. The aim instead is to arm participants with experimental skills and critical materials to consider and produce alternatives.

This experimental syllabus will be free* to attend. It Is open to arts practitioners, arts collectives, self-employed individuals, small business operators and others working with or curious about radical and experimental business methods. Participants will be asked to commit to the full run of activities, Feb 1-March 1. Places are limited: you will need to apply for a place by November 29th. One place on the course is reserved for a Glenorchy resident.

For more information, full schedule and how to apply, see: https://fo.am/events/feral-mba-inception. Any questions, contact [email protected].
