Exhibition Dates: Friday 10 September – Saturday 9 October

The Latin word Obscura translates into meaning dark. The exhibition Forest Obscura brings together the work of four multidisciplinary artists inspired by their thoughts and experiences of the dark and mysterious Takayna/Tarkine forest.
The artists have employed a range of printmaking and mixed media techniques to imbue their artwork with a sense of the dark and mysterious forest.
Leigh Hobba has created a soundscape made from recording the noises of the forest day and night.
The exhibition seeks to bring awareness to the beauty and fragility of this ancient Tasmanian forest.
