This workshop will take place on stolen Palawa land. We pay respect to past, present and emerging Tasmanian Aboriginal communities in their unending quest for sovereignty.
Join us for a participatory workshop with Jim Denley and Amanda Stewart. Bring your instruments, sound making devices, pots, pans or whatever you use for creating music. We will all co-create together, talk about the history of experimentalism in music and Australia. Jim and Amanda will talk about their practice and their views on improvisation.
This workshop is open to everyone, all ages, levels of experience, any instruments or ideas, all are welcome. This is a place to meet others who are enthusiastic about exploring and co-creating together.
Attendance is $10 on the door or online we would like to thank Moonah Arts Centre for their support and encouragement in putting this event on.
