Minds Do Matter

Minds Do Matter is an annual statewide mental health and wellbeing art exhibition, celebrating Mental Health Week through creativity, connection and community participation.

Now in its 17th year, the exhibition invites Tasmanians of all ages and abilities to explore themes of mental health and wellbeing through art. It presents a collection of work celebrating and encouraging a greater understanding for the diversity of perspectives, experiences and creativity of Tasmanians.

Many artworks reflect personal experiences, moments of connection and the everyday things that support wellbeing.

In 2026, the exhibition theme is Reflect: Appreciate the little things, encouraging participants and visitors alike to pause and recognise the small moments that bring meaning, hope and joy.

Entry to the galleries is free.

RANT Arts Ltd is a not-for-profit Arts Organisation based in Regional Tasmania. We are a creative producer, facilitator, administrator and service provider for the arts. Our key priorities are regional arts, youth arts and health and wellbeing in the arts.
