Nipaluna Youth Bands Night
An all-ages gig featuring local youth bands
Doors 7pm, Friday 11 July
Age group: All ages
Cost: FREE
Get ready for an electrifying night, celebrating the next wave of local bands shaking up Lutruwita/Tasmania!
Headlining the night are genre-bending trio, Crinkle Cut Puck Suckers, known for their psychedelic, rhythm-driven sets and unpredictable live energy. Having recently played MONA, Altar & The Grand Poobah, they’re fast becoming one of Nipaluna’s favourite emerging group.
Joining them are the chaotic, alt-rock antics of BOFA — four teens channelling the early days of emo and post-hardcore energy, with absolutely zero seriousness. BOFA seamlessly blend chaos and killer riffs into a fantastic musical soup.
Kicking off the evening are The Jaceys, a five-piece indie rock band who blend dreamy harmonies and catchy hooks. Their heartfelt original repertoire has been influenced by the likes of Fleetwood Mac and Jeff Buckley.
Come along, support local youth bands and discover your new favourite act. This is what the future of live music in Lutruwita/Tasmania.
This is a free event, but bookings are required.
This all-ages event is unlicensed. Attendees aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Proudly supported by our friends at Modern Musician.
