Event Details

19 Feb – 20 Mar
Open Tuesday to Friday 10am–5pm, Saturday 10am–2pm

Adrienne Charles has been designing and producing counted cross stitch kits as her business Nostalgia Tasmania since 1989. The aim — to promote the beauty of Tasmania. She describes her work as ‘tourism through craft’.

Adrienne’s designs have been enjoyed by many, and the kits have been posted to many places around the world.

Adrienne has exhibited at the Tasmanian Craft Fair in Deloraine, Agfest, Bothwell Spin In, Glenorchy Market Day, Triabunna Village, Middleton Country Fair, in Hamilton (New Zealand), in Elmore (Victoria), plus other smaller events. She was awarded second place in the state-wide inaugural Premier’s Choice competition in the first year of her business. She also won Best Craft Exhibiton at Agfest in 2010.

Adrienne no longer takes part in large shows — “there comes a time for everyone!” she says — so this is a very special opportunity to see a range of her finished designs.
