ARTIST: Bea & Nina
GENRE: Singer-Songwriter, R&B, Folk, Soul

BIO: Bea and Nina is a duo whose songs embody the genre bends of R&B and Folk. With their individual musical styles blending to manifest a vocally driven songwriter set, they explore lyrics that relate and navigate through their independent relationships and experiences.

Upon initially meeting as friends, they started writing together at the start of 2022 and have continued ever since. Continuing to perform and write together, they are also working on developing their separate discographies.

ARTIST: Eri & Risa

GENRE: Contemporary Dance

BIO: Risa Muramatsu Ray is a dancer from Japan who grew up around Tokyo, the direct opposite of lutruwita/Tasmania. She has been here for over seven years and loves the abundance of art, artistic people and nature. Dance is possibly her best way of communicating, which helps her form bridges between her worlds. Eri Mullooly-Hill Konishi is from countryside Nara. She is a Dance Movement Psychotherapist and an inclusive dance artist who moves with diverse communities in lutruwita/Tasmania. Eri has always been a believer of the power of dance that arises from within and connects us all beyond our perceived differences.

ARTIST: Baltimore Charlot

GENRE: R&B, Pop, Soul

BIO: Based in lutruwita/Tasmania, Baltimöre Charlót is the art-pop project of Sarah Charlotte: a craftswoman of stems, samples and production madness. Her upcoming EP “BRAZIL” – which like all of her music is entirely produced by herself, is a brazen mix of heavy baile rhythms and lush, soulful synths. “BRAZIL” is set to be released later in the year, under Charlót’s own label Charlót Productions.

ARTIST: Oska

Genre: Rap, Hip Hop, Pop

BIO: Delivered through vivid recollection of events, OSKA explores topics of love, heartbreak, and new relationships. He first discovered his passion for music while living in Melbourne (2019). Now home in Tasmania, the 22 year old has worked to blend US inspired melodic rap with the raw cadence of Australian vocals. OSKA released his first single ‘Demon’ in May of 2022 and has since collaborated on tracks such as ‘Lifestyle’ with fellow Tassie artist Kiz. A burning ambition to succeed is showcased on his debut mixtape ‘Tear Drop Stains,’ which features emotional storylines packaged as catchy hooks and expressive verses. He draws influence from the likes of The Kid LAROI, Lil Tjay, Polo G, and Drake.

ARTIST: Grace Chia

GENRE: R&B, Hip Hop

BIO: Tasmanian artist Grace Chia blends her poetry roots with impactful hip-hop and soulful RnB, addressing political and social issues often overlooked in mainstream media. Through her performances, she amplifies marginalised voices with punchy bars and raw emotion. Expect deep-thought lyricism, soulful melodies and raw performances with her heart worn proudly on her sleeve. Grace is a regular at Hobart’s hip-hop events and performs statewide, including MONA FOMA and The Festival of Voices 2024. She’s supported acts like Drapht, Allday, Cash Savage and The Last Drinks, Grouch in Dub, The Dub Princess and K+Lab.

Grace is the 2024 recipient of the “Nick Balcombe ‘Live Your Dream’ Grant”. Last year she released her debut album, ‘Marsapollo”, won the Young Achiever’s People’s Choice Award, earned a National Live Music Awards nomination for Best Live Act, and was selected in The Push’s 25 under 25 ‘Best Emerging Artists’

ARTIST: エミエミ (emi emi)

GENRE: J-pop, electronic

BIO: エミエミ (emi emi) is the experimental J-pop project from 26-year-old Emi Doi.

Born and raised in lutruwita/Tasmania to her Launcestonian mum and Japanese dad, ミエミエ

(emi emi) sings in a mixture of Japanese and English, drawing inspiration from the likes of

Kero Kero Bonito, CHAI, Kyary Pyamu Pyamu and AAAMYYY. ミ エ ミ エ (emi emi) has already garnered a significant reputation as a live act since commencing the project in 2022, with bookings at Dark Mofo, Taste of Summer, The Unconformity, HAYDAYS and A Festival Called Panama, as well as support slots for Luca Brasi, SET MO and Close Counters.
