‘Paint Dreamz’ is an artwork of rare intensity and rigour. It is an enclosed world, a world in which the nature of the object is explored, where the definition of what is real is examined. The key concept underpinning this work is that objects exist in a state of flux and melt into each other and the spaces between them. ‘Reality’ and ‘Condition’ are ultimately indistinguishable as are ‘Object’ and ‘Process’.

About the Avago

This is the first artistic installation in the ‘Avago’ window at the front of the building on the end of the Makers Workshop on Albert Road.

This installation was specially commissioned to be the first artwork in this space. It consists of a numbers of TV monitors and elements created by the artist, Jacob Leary. The monitors will run 24/7 throughout the life of the installation.

We are hoping that in the future we will be able to secure sponsorship from the business community of Moonah/Glenorchy to enable a series of sponsored installations to be made for this unique and high profile Space.
