Make beautiful little boxes out of recycled materials!

In this workshop you will be provided with a range of recycled fabric and paper pieces, felt, yarn, cotton thread and other assorted bits and pieces to create a unique textile box. If you have a special piece of fabric or embellishments you would like to incorporate into your design, you are welcome to bring them.

You will experiment with various textile art techniques such as needle felting, applique, couching, slashing and stitching, then use your textile art panels in the design and construction of your box.

We will include some options for closures such as braiding and tassels.
