This exhibition explores the temporal act of writing, erasing and re-writing one’s story in paint, a cathartic process that allows one to let go, clearing the mind and body. Release is an exploration of trauma on the feminine which contemplates the hidden complexities of the mind. Through their process of making, the artist observes rapid thought patterns, transcribing these into the work and re-writing memories.

Amanda Kay is a multidisciplinary contemporary artist and has produced multiple works for public space and private collections. This is her fist solo exhibition.
