Exhibition Launch: 5:30pm, Thursday 27 August 2026

During a time of geopolitical upheaval and global unrest, STATUS QUO aka Adelaide Opus and Luke John Campbell ask questions about the nature of consciousness, the subjectivity of perception and the origin of thought. They invite the viewer to reflect with them, asking:

“What does it mean to be human?” and “What are we using our consciousness for and can we collectively create a newfound humanity?”.

This exhibition unearths themes of contradiction, uncertainty, isolation, self and other, through painting, sculpture and soundscape.

SEEING | THE UNSEEN marks Campbell and Opus’ first time collaborating as STATUS QUO.

Entry to the galleries is free.
