In this exhibition two artists, Esther Touber and Hannah Baek Wha, come together to tell tales of their modern day lives and share stories of female strength, nuance and wisdom. These semi-autobiographical artworks use multimedia storytelling to subvert gendered stereotypes and archetypes found in folklore. In doing so, the artists find solidarity in sharing their social and cultural identities through the act of storytelling, seeking to understand and reflect on their place in the world.
