Travels with my Needle, Hook and Threads brings together two decades of plastic-based artworks by artist Anna Phillips. Drawing on her years living and working in Central Asia, the exhibition traces the evolution of her practice and the traditional techniques she learned from local women, artisans and community makers who shared their knowledge of stitching, winding, knotting and construction.

This exhibition invites audiences to reconsider plastic as a creative and expressive artistic medium. Through skilled craftsmanship and innovative processes, Phillips transforms an often-overlooked material into works of beauty and meaning, prompting reflection on our relationship with consumption, waste and the natural world.
