Treading Water

Jillian Farmer

Friday 17 October – Saturday 8 November 2025

Exhibition Launch: 5.30, Thursday 16 October

In Treading Water artist Jillian Farmer contemplates the toxic allure of plastic.

Utilising upcycled plastic products, this sculptural installation explores the connection between our all-pervasive plastic use and ecological systems. What is the impact on the environment from this widespread pollution? And, how will living organisms be affected?

Jillian Farmer has worked as an educator and arts facilitator in art therapy for 22 years. Her multidisciplinary art practice includes sculpture, installation, drawing and painting.

Entry to the galleries is free.
